2024 AIA International Conference - Hong Kong

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated 2024 AIA International Conference, which will once again take place in the exciting city of Hong Kong. The organization is inviting architects, designers, and industry professionals from around the world to join them in October for this three-day event.

The conference will provide a platform for attendees to explore ways of creating a better built environment that responds to the unique challenges of our times. Key topics to be addressed include:

Elevating Experiences: Discovering innovative approaches to enhance and elevate architectural experiences by creating spaces that inspire and engage.

Creating Connections: Exploring strategies for fostering meaningful connections and community engagement in the dynamic city of Hong Kong, one of the most densely populated urban environments in the world.

Designing Better Communities: Uncovering the transformative power of design in shaping better, more inclusive communities that foster social equity and sustainable development.

The conference will open on Thursday, October 24th, and be held at the Asia Society Hong Kong Center, a stunning building designed by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects + Partners and winner of a 2016 AIA Honor Award.

To kick off the event, an optional cocktail reception will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd, at The American Club Hong Kong, providing attendees with an opportunity to connect with fellow participants and speakers in a casual setting. Additionally, building and city tours will be offered on Sunday, October 27th, allowing attendees to experience the architectural wonders of Hong Kong firsthand.

Registration for the 2024 AIA International Conference will open on June 27th, and attendees are encouraged to secure their spots early to be part of this global dialogue on the future of architecture.
