EWC was founded by Er. Edward E Woo in1973 to provide Mechanical & Electrical Engineering consultancy services. In year 2010, the firm was rebranded to EWC Engineers Pte. Ltd. We aim to provide its clients with professional services that can achieve an appropriate balance between design, environment and cost consideration. We are registered with Professional Engineers Board Singapore and listed in BCA Public Sector Panels of Consultants ME 02. Our Expertise Building MEP Services Design We are able to provide  full MEP Consultancy Services  including  MEP Services Design  (includes Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation Systems, Electrical Systems, Extra Low Voltage Systems, Plumbing Systems, Sanitary Systems, Fire Protection Systems, Lift & Escalators Systems etc.),  cost estimation, authority submission, construction management & supervision, testing and commissioning   etc . On top of typical building design, we can provide consultancy services in  design of critical facilities  including  data centers, clean rooms, airports etc . BIM & Building Services Coordination We are experienced in  modelling of building MEP services in BIM , as well as coordination of building services in  combined services drawing  for facilities with dense MEP services ie. data centers & airports. In such facilities, services coordination is one of the key process prior to site installation as this can  allow more efficient utilization of resources including time and money.  Some of our significant track record of building services coordination includes Changi Airport Terminal 4, as well as Keppel’s T-20 Data Centre. ESD & Green Mark Consultancy To support Green and Sustainable Engineering Design, we offer the Energy Sustainability Design & Consultancy services in various aspects including Green Mark Assessment and Gap Analysis, Life Cycle Costing, Design for Energy Efficiency, Waste Recycling and Management, Environmental Impact Analysis as well as Sustainable Material and Product Selection. We also represent building owners in dealing with authority for Green Mark Certification and Submission pertaining to Legislative Requirements.  Our ESD & Green Mark Team has assisted various building owners in achieving Green Mark Awards (including Green Mark Platinum Award) and would love to provide our services and value additions to more building owners. Building Services Inspection & Consultancy Currently, many building owners are facing problems with their aging MEP system, where their system/equipment are reaching or have exceeded recommended life span and having trouble in deciding whether replacement or upgrade is essential for operation/compliance. For this, we are experienced in conducting inspection and assessment of existing Building Services system and equipment, establishing the existing condition, performing gap analysis against industry standards and code requirements, as well as recommendation of works to be done. We are also able to provide full consultancy services for the proposed upgrading works, including tender preparation and contract administration. Our team has experiences in inspection and consultancy services for total system upgrading/replacement of various system including ACMV Systems (Chillers, Chilled Water Pumps, AHUs, CRACs etc.), Electrical System (Transformers, Generators etc.), Fire Protection System (Fire Alarm Systems, Fireman Intercom Systems, Fire Pumping Systems etc.), Lift Systems (motor room type, motor-roomless types, hydraulic types etc.) and Plumbing Systems (domestic pumps, transfer pumps etc.).
