Expo Interchange Design Award winner for Transport Category ‘The jurors commend the team for their perseverance towards design excellence in an infrastructural project that is often technically restrictive and demanding. At the Interchange, there are clear and coherent design strategies to bring together various interfacing entrances and exits, in a way that makes navigation legible and effective. At each entrance, there are contextual responses that are executed with refined detailing. Coupled with the creative use of colours, subdued textures and artwork, this station design is exemplary in an elegant resolution of architecture.' - Jury citation
