Founded in 2000 and based in Geneva, group8 is an office active in the fields of architecture and urban planning, which claims a certain creative freedom and a constructive casualness, in a context rather renowned for its sobriety. He articulates his production according to the idea that each project emanating from a new context justifies a new writing and must include a radical choice capable of upsetting uses. A building therefore develops a specificity and an identity that make it unique. Sources of inspiration and impulses result from a constantly changing way of looking at society. Also, the projects are considered as formal translations of social behaviors.
