JASON GAEKWAD PUBLISHES PASSIVE HOUSE TECHNICAL PAPER

Jason Gaekwad, Inhabit Regional Manager – Building Physics & Sustainability, Melbourne, and Deb Adams, Associate at BKK Architects, Melbourne, have published a technical paper in the May edition of EcoLibrium, the official journal of AIRAH, the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air conditioning and Heating.

Titled Passivhaus (Passive House) in Australian Climates, the paper examines the use of the Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP) energy modelling tool and climate data for Australian population centres, resulting in a new set of five “Passivhaus Principles” for warm (cooling dominated) Australian climates.
