About Muzi Design Architects
STUDIO Muzi Design was established in 2006 by Principal Architect Mr Lee Song Wee after accumulating experience in designing, supervising and managing projects in Singapore and China over the past 20 years. Our ethos focuses on the symbiosis between nature and the built environment by embracing Southeast Asia's tropical climate. Each Architectural project has an unique approach correlating to its site context and programmatic specifics, offering an innovative design anchored in a strong concept. Muzi Design takes a down to earth approach towards Architecture, building homes which reflect the dreams, lifestyle and personalities of each individual client. We strongly believe in working closely with clients and consultants collaboratively to realize a project’s full potential. PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT Lee Song Wee Prior to the establishment of muzidesign, Song wee practiced for 13 years with Richard Ho Architects, where he was extensively involved in several award winning projects such as 13 Frankel Street (Singapore Institute of Architects Design Award 2001-SIA Design Award), 26 Everton Road (The 2000 Kenneth F. Brown Asia Pacific Culture and Architecture Design Award- Honourable Mention). Chang House at Chiltern Drive which was published in the book ’25 Tropical Houses in Singapore and Malaysia’ by Paul McGillick . TEAM We are an intimate family of dedicated & passionate individuals who takes an integrative and contextual approach towards every project.
