The flooring itself, is comprised of finger mosaic oak pieces, which are laid on their edge over the 110 square metre area. This represents a highly sustainable choice, with low wastage of timber combined with the maximum thickness of wood for longevity. The process began with the application of Bona Classic Prime, which prepared the surface by retaining the wood's natural characteristics and ensuring a uniform appearance. This was followed by two coats of Bona Traffic HD, a high-durability finish that not only protects the floor from the wear and tear of heavy foot traffic but also preserves its aesthetic appeal. With the floors being returned to use in just 12 hours after the final lacquer coat, the hotel lobby was open for guests again in the shortest time possible. The result is a beautifully restored floor that harmonizes with the hotel's artistic ethos and continues to captivate guests with its elegance and warmth.
