About Da Di Glass

Our humble beginnings can be traced back to 1981. Our founder, Lim Soon Leong, raised enough money for a simple grinding machine and a small inventory of glass. Working from a small plot of land rented from a pig farmer, Da Di Glass Contractor was open for business.

However, it was simply impossible to cater to the growing demand for glass from this modest workshop. After enlisting the help of his wife, Chew Mui Kian, they moved to a new workshop at Ang Mo Kio three years later. At this new workplace, there was much more room to grow.

In 1994, Da Di Glass (S) Pte Ltd was formally incorporated as the company advanced into its next phase. More than a decade later, we moved to our Kranji plant. It was here that we decided to differentiate ourselves by investing in machinery necessary for producing quality products.

It was only in 2013 that we acquired our Sungei Kadut plant. That was a defining moment as we made our largest investment yet – a full processing line capable of cutting, edge-working, heat treating, laminating and double glazing. Only when equipped with such in-house facilities, we can be sure to deliver products with quality and speed.
