Corten steel was originally developed to overcome steel's biggest weakness, "Rust".

After a while, a protective rust layer of other metals forms on its surface, preventing the steel from critical corrosion. It also prevents metal fatigue and gives resistance to high temperature environment. Corten steel have other advantage apart from the technical perspective, which is the design. It is the material which matches with any scenery of residential or non-residential. With its chic appearance and functional advantages, Corten steel are considered as very beautiful material around the world.

Regardless of these advantages, Corten steel is still not perfect. There are some problems, such as staining on surrounding walls. Corten can also be very heavy since most of its material is composed of steel. Also, Corten steel will change its colour. This could be a good part, and it is usually considered as a aging of natural material. However. it is can be difficult for owners to think of the impression of the building after each stages of aging.

Our material expressed this Corten steel by printing the design on Aluminium substrate. By printing the design on aluminium we kept the same level of durability, and at the same time we overcame problems such as weight or staining.
