dormakaba Singapore is the Regional HQ for dormakaba’s operations in Region ASEAN, and is part of Segment AS APAC.Established in 1981 as Dorma Door Controls, the company has grown from strength to strength over the years, and is today a major player in the Access Solutions Industry in the region. The merger with Kaba in 2015 created a much stronger company in the industry, and dormakaba Singapore has now the most comprehensive product portfolio in the markets we serve as far as Access Solutions are concerned. The full range of dormakaba products and services are now offered through our own offices in 7 of the 10 countries in ASEAN, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia, where we have our respective teams of qualified sales, technical, and service professionals, as well as our dedicated teams of distributors/dealers, professional installers, and other business partners. In the remaining 3 countries in ASEAN, namely Myanmar, Brunei, and Laos, we work through a network of professional distributors and resellers.The business model we used varies from country to country, and the level of expertise needed to sell, install, and service our different product clusters. Our business philosophy, however, remains the same across all the countries we serve, and this is embodied in one of our core values of always putting our Customers First.We also believe in local management in all the countries where we have an office, so that our customers can be better served by people who truly understand the cultural and business dynamics in the respective countries.
