Outstanding design quality - Schüco wins German Design Award 2020

Schüco has won a total of five German Design Awards in the "Excellent Product Design – Building and Elements" category. The international panel of experts awarded the Schüco ASE 67 PD sliding system with Gold status and commended four other products from the company. The ASE 60/80 TipTronic sliding system platform, the AWS 75 PD.SI window system, the Schüco DCS SmartTouch access control and door communication system as well as the Schüco CSB sun shading system all received the "Winner" award.

OUTSTANDING PANORAMA

The Schüco ASE 67 PD sliding system (Aluminium Sliding Element, basic depth 67 mm, Panorama Design) combines design with comfort and function. The narrow profiles give the system a puristic design and provide maximum transparency. Furthermore, the outer frames can be integrated in the walls and the ceiling of the building. A level threshold ensures additional ease of access.

The award-winning Schüco ASE 60/80 TipTronic sliding system platform (Aluminium Sliding Element, basic depth 60/80 mm) also provides a particularly high level of comfort and convenience. The mechatronic TipTronic fitting and actuator unit creates a number of different operating and opening options for the large vent units. Together with the concealed fitting and narrow profile face widths, the system combines ease of use with individual design requirements.

Large-format window vents and narrow profile face widths are also offered by the award-winning Schüco AWS 75 PD.SI window system (Aluminium Window System, basic depth 75 mm, Panorama Design, Super Insulated). With its slimline face widths, the window system enables maximum light penetration with an elegant design.

AWARD-WINNING TECHNOLOGY

The Schüco SmartTouch door control system combines professional audio/video door communication with easy-to-use, secure access control. Within its stylish, flush-fitted module design, the system combines a number of functions which can also be controlled intuitively while on the move using the Schüco app.

FIRST-CLASS SUN SHADING

With Schüco CSB (Concealed Shaped Blind) sun shading, the company has created sun shading which can be adapted individually depending on the building design and also allows views to the outside to be retained. The external, roller-operated sun shading made from aluminium louvre blades provides effective shading with a level of transparency of 23%. Thanks to the choice of different anodised colours, there are no limits placed on the design by the sun shading either.
