Jumbo Globe's projects stand out in the market due to our commitment to respecting local culture and incorporating sustainable design with innovative ideas. Our latest project in Haizhu District, an industrial area known for its textile and clothing production, is a prime example of this. With the Greater Bay Area plan and a new positioning strategy for the district, we aimed to create a space that links the area's proud past with its exciting future.
Our "Fabric of the Future" concept takes this idea a step further, using the organic pattern of fabrics in the façade design to create a unique link to the area's history. By incorporating new technology and expanding greenery, we enhanced the customer experience and transformed the space into a more welcoming, sustainable, and family-friendly leisure destination.
Our project features a signature canopy at the main entrance that provides a spacious shelter from the sun, improving air-conditioning efficiency and reducing discomfort during summer. The lighting system and advertising displays utilize cutting-edge LED technology, while solar panels integrated into the canopy and rooftop structure generate sustainable energy. The semi-opened catering space and terracing design with abundant greenery introduce natural sunlight and fresh air, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint and lower maintenance costs for sustainable commercial development.
The design also embraces open space and greenery, creating a welcoming environment for all and pioneering sustainability. The entrance features a naked-eye 3D screen that excites and attracts visitors, creating a trendy hotspot with energy-efficient and reliable LED technology. The metal streamlined façade with interactive lighting imitates fiber optics data transmission, visually connecting the district's fabric history with the latest technology.
The South Elevation of our building features three levels of outdoor terraces with alfresco dining spots, providing a unique opportunity to experience outdoor spaces at higher levels and introducing panoramic views of the surroundings. The design creates an urban connection between the user and the external context, while external staircases leading to our third entrance at a higher level increase circulation to the upper floors. The roof garden has been expanded to create a communal area for the public, with garden areas featuring plantings and trees that help reduce the heat island effect.
Our project has four key objectives: preserving the heritage of the district, incorporating the latest technology and sustainability, addressing the client's needs and challenges, and creating more leisure and family-friendly spaces for all, while increasing the value of the shopping mall. To achieve these objectives, our team conducted detailed research of the district, engaged in constant communication with the client to understand their needs, and provided internal trainings on the latest technology and sustainability. With our years of experience working with clients from different cities in mainland China, our communication has been smooth and effective, resulting in a design that meets the client's expectations.
We are extremely proud to see how our project brings the past and the future together in a way that benefits the local community, preserving the history of the district while creating a family-friendly and sustainable architectural space. Our project is located in the heart of the district, and our pioneering concepts in technology and sustainability can inspire the local people and bring positive changes to the society, helping to preserve local cultures, educating people on sustainable design, and keeping up with the latest technology for a better future.
