A warehouse has been re purposed into an auditorium for 650 with a future capacity of 900 seats with state-of-the-art AV Technology including a TV control room. The spaces include a large welcoming foyer, baptism pond, a creche, youth rooms, a green room, guest lounges, several breakout meeting spaces, and car parking.
NBRS responded to the challenge of working within an existing warehouse and amending the original structure. The semi-industrial feel was maintained through polished concrete and detailed exposed steel features. An auditorium was inserted into the existing shell and complex design resolution provided highly technical requirements for AV connectedness and telecommunication.
The spaces that support the auditorium create a seamless connection of uses. The large café style foyer is a generous welcoming space for casual interaction. The children and family facilities are designed to be engaging and a pleasure to use. The composition of connecting spaces is easy to navigate and make being part of the church a safe and life-filled environment.
