Changi Airport Terminal 4 Wins President’s Design Award 2018 Design Of The Year

Changi Airport Terminal 4 (T4) was honoured with the President’s Design Award 2018 Design of the Year at a ceremony held at the Istana last night.

Within its few months of operation, Singapore’s first integration of the Fast and Seamless Travel (FAST) system has been successful and T4 has handled more than 1.6 million passengers without issues. T4 is Singapore’s first airport to incorporate fully automated systems with a centralised immigration security screen area, wholly equipping passengers the means to serve themselves from check-in to boarding, creating a seamless and stress-free Changi Experience.

The subtleties in T4’s technological and design considerations, to even shopping experience, have created an unforgettable experience that makes the environment much more pleasant for passengers and for the airport staff. As a national gateway, it aims to make the airport, however brief, a pleasurable experience that leaves a positive impression of Singapore.
