Surbana Jurong and Mind PointEye to develop AI applications and systems for smart cities

In attendance by China’s Yangzhou Government, Surbana Jurong had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with software and programming firm Mind PointEye, to promote collaboration in the research and development of relevant Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and systems for smart cities, specifically to be implemented in the YangZhou AI Tech Park.

Commenting on the presented conceptual plan of the 740,000sqm-GFA Yangzhou AI Tech Park by Surbana Jurong’s North Asia Architecture team, Nanyang Technological University’s Prof Huang Guangbin, who is also the founder of Mind PointEye, complimented Surbana Jurong’s resilient and sustainable design features, which reflects his vision of a future-proofed park design.

Yangzhou party secretary Zhang Tong expressed high expectations of this strategic cooperation between SJ and Mind PointEye driving the transformation of Jiangsu province’s manufacturing industry into a world-class intelligent manufacturing cluster in the near future. Yangzhou is a city in Jiangsu province.
