Tiantong Architecture was founded in Paris, France, and established a permanent office in Chengdu, China in early 2018. Architecture connects places and people through construction activities. It is about life and environment, memory and inheritance. We hope to respond with sincere design, create in a smart way, and observe from a bystander's perspective. Creating from the environment is the origin of the name Tiantong. We are good at observing and listening. All designs start with a rational and detailed interpretation of the place. We are busy exploring, constantly going beyond the established boundaries to find creativity and possibilities. We are good at organization, discovering potential connections and site logic from the complex status quo, and evaluating the impact of scale on the environment. We take the pursuit of details as our responsibility, studying the spatial perception through opening and closing, yin and yang, and proportions, and analyzing changes in people's behavior. We are architects in site, working on materials and finding the most appropriate local construction methods to create spaces that are comfortable and allow stories to happen.
