About ARCAT | Who we are and how we got here
ARCAT was founded in 1991 by Rick and Leslie Jannott, and was known as the Big Red Book. The ARCAT Directory was created as a desktop reference with listings and manufacturer's catalogs. Thirty plus years later ARCAT has evolved into the most used website for finding building product information and product content such as specs, CAD and BIM.

Now brothers Bill and Casey Jannott lead the company into the digital age with vast libraries of building product information for inclusion into construction projects.

The ARCAT site offers the most extensive, most consistent, and most up to date CAD, BIM, and specification libraries available anywhere. All of our specs are available in multiple formats for both MF '95 and 2020 and CSC making it simple for anyone to use them.

Our CAD drawing library is second to none with thousands of details in DWG and PDF formats.
