The goal was simple, to introduce the Barrier Reef design knowledge and inspiration we had acquired over many years to the manufacturing process in the US.

Hard Work Breeds Success

It was at this point we went to work. We purchased some fiberglass pools from Barrier Reef of Australia, loaded them on a ship and sent them to the US. Upon arrival we realized the market was wide open and he had an edge with our superior shells.

Next, we had to sell the pools, so we started going to home shows and selling our pools direct to the customer. Now that pools had been sold, the next hurdle was getting them installed. This is how we began our relationship with pool installers.

Once pool installers became familiar with the fiberglass pool and the ease of installation, the word got out. Soon pool installers were coming to us for more pools. At this point, the ability to produce the highest quality pools and to do it consistently had become a priority. This prompted the building of the manufacturing facility. Our plant was constructed in Timmonsville, South Carolina and has been growing and expanding ever since to facilitate the demand of the market.
