Welcome to Dakota Stone Mining & Stone Supply and Dakota Stone’s Rock Shop.  We are located 3 miles NE of Hill City on Hwy 16/386. Nestled in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.

We carry a variety of stone and stone products. Whether you’re a homeowner looking for a unique landscape or a beautiful fireplace or a large company that is looking for durable and natural construction material, Dakota Stone has what you need.

Established in 1976, Dakota Stone Mining & Stone Supply Inc. is a third generation family business. My mother, wife, sons, & I are involved in operations.

Located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, we have become the main producer of natural stone in the area. Most of the products we sell are mined and processed by our mining company.
