Lualdi is a historic company of Italian design in the field of interior doors, bespoke furniture and contract, managed by the fourth family generation. The industrial turning point began in the sixties thanks to the close symbiosis created with the architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni. Today the company collaborates with the most important architects in the world, has showrooms in Milan, New York and Miami, and its leadership is recognized internationally.

Company history

The first certain information on the family's activity dates back to 1859, when Carlo Lualdi created an artisan carpentry in Marcallo for the production of bespoke furniture. In the mid-fifties, Lualdi began an intense collaboration with the architects of the Milanese bourgeoisie: Vico Magistretti, Anna Castelli Ferrieri, Ignazio Gardella, Roberto Menghi, Marco Zanuso and Luigi Caccia Dominioni, with whom a consolidated understanding was created that will last over the time and leading to the industrial turning point of the company. In the nineties Lualdi started the internationalization process in the USA and UK and the collaboration with important architects. At the beginning of the 2000s, the company opens Lualdi Inc. in the USA, showrooms in New York and Miami and proceeds to expand the production plant in Marcallo.
