Our beginnings

Opening our doors for the first time in 1975, we began making pine furniture for the retail market, trading as “Pine Productions”.

In 1987 our focus moved to the healthcare furniture market, identifying demand for strong, safe and durable healthcare furniture which avoided the “institutional” appearance that was common at the time.

With a new direction, a new name was required, so with a nod to the past we became simply “Pineapple”.
