About SUNFLEX-Wall-Systems LP

Did you know, that SUNFLEX is one of the pioneers in "Folding Sliding Doors" and "Slide and Turn Systems". We can proudly say, that "We designed today's standards more than 30 years ago".

The "SUNFLEX-Aluminiumsysteme GmbH" was founded by Ernst-Josef Schneider in 1986, whom invented "The Hinge-Connected Braket". A solution which is state of the art until today.

Those fundamental works happend in a small, barn alike shop in a little village called Altenhof in Germany.
The idea of designing those iconic folding sliding doors happend once he found the poorly designed product out there didn´t fit his demand in regards to design and performance.

The original idea of a hinge connect framed glass panels came from an Icecream-Store Owner in Italy.

 

Some other inovative solutions from SUNFLEX are:

- The first segmented folding sliding door.

- The first postless corner solution.

- The one and only "Asymetric (top sloped) folding door".

- Gap-Vent Locking Position for folding sliding doors

- Integrated Tilt and Turn Windows in a folding sliding door.

2008 SUNFLEX Wall Systems LP Opens in the USA

Since we began working in the USA in 2008 from our offices in Southwest Florida we have been choosen product by well know commercial projects such as:
