Our Story

Before LEDs became prevalent in our everyday lives, an early application was sign lighting, which was US LED's introduction to the new technology. However, industry experts resisted the initial adoption of LED lighting. "Their reaction often sounded like we were asking them to change religion rather than their source of lighting for their channel letters," said Ron Farmer, CEO of US LED. LED technology would eventually become the standard for energy-efficiency and the primary alternative to traditional lighting systems for commercial and industrial applications.

When US LED was founded in 2001, LED technology was starting to gain momentum. After capitalizing on our history in signage lighting, US LED shifted focus in 2009 to expand its LED product portfolio even further. US LED's growing industry expertise quickly transformed it into a top tier manufacturer with national lighting programs of 5,000 and 6,000 locations completed in 2010 and 2011.

During early growth and wide-spread adoption of LED solutions, US LED was recognized as one of America's fastest-growing private companies, making the Inc. 500/5000 list six times. US LED was also awarded a spot in the list of Top 100 Manufacturing Companies several times.

Present-day, US LED is the leading full-service provider of commercial lighting and building technology solutions in the United States. Our philosophy has always been that every team member contributes to satisfying our customers' needs and our long-term customer relationships attest to that.

Our Products

Thanks to our early history in LED lighting, US LED has decades of engineering expertise to continuously offer LED lamps and luminaires that approach 200,000-hour L70 lifetimes. Because we control the entire quality process, we can offer our industry-leading Ten-Year Warranty. Much of our product line is assembled right here in our facility in Houston, Texas.
